Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Dar’s Gaza Diplomacy
Istanbul, November 3 (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, held meetings with the foreign ministers of seven countries to discuss the situation in Gaza.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dar, along with the foreign ministers of Arab and Islamic countries, discussed steps to achieve a permanent ceasefire and sustainable peace in Gaza.
During the meeting, the ministers called for urgent humanitarian assistance to the Palestinians, condemned Israel’s ceasefire violations, demanded its withdrawal from the occupied Palestinian territories, and emphasized the reconstruction of Gaza.
Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s support for the establishment of an independent, viable, and sustainable State of Palestine based on pre-1967 borders, with Jerusalem as its capital, consistent with the resolutions of the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
