Switzerland supports UNESCO reforms
Samarkand, November 3 (Hibya) – Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis met with Dr. Khaled El-Enany, who has been appointed as the new Director-General of UNESCO.
Swiss Foreign Minister Cassis met with Dr. Khaled El-Enany following his appointment as UNESCO’s Director-General.
Cassis stated that Switzerland is ready to support UNESCO’s reforms aimed at achieving more focused and tangible results and emphasized that his country will fulfill its responsibilities when elected to the World Heritage Committee.
He also highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation between UNESCO and International Geneva in the fields of science and new technologies.
