Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

According to CCTV, Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin made an official visit to China from January 4 to 8. This is the first visit to China by an Irish leader in 14 years.

Speaking to the press in Beijing, Martin commented on the global trade situation:

“We are against tariffs. We believe tariffs ultimately harm the global economy. There are trade tensions in the world today. There is no point in pretending there are not. What is important is to maintain dialogue, see if we can develop frameworks for agreements on the big picture rather than specific items, and be able to create stable trade relations.”

On other ties between the countries, Martin added: “We have a strong literary tradition. Our educational ties are very strong, and we have many partnerships between Irish and Chinese higher education institutions. This is important.”
