Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Kaja Kallas made a statement on the security of transit routes in the region and diplomatic processes with Iran.

Criticizing the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, Kallas said: “Regardless of whether the Strait is open or closed, daily U-turns are reckless. Passage through the strait must remain free.”

Referring to the EU’s new sanctions decision, Kallas stated: “The EU has reached a political agreement to expand the sanctions regime to also target those who violate freedom of navigation.”

Emphasizing regional cooperation regarding Iran’s nuclear and military program, Kallas said: “None of us want to see a nuclear-armed Iran. We agree with our regional partners that a lasting solution must address not only the nuclear issue but also other matters, including Iran’s missile program and its continued support for terrorist groups.”
