Lahbib: We stand in solidarity with the Afghan people
Brussels, November 3 (Hibya) – European Union (EU) Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management, Hadja Lahbib, stated that they stand in solidarity with the Afghan people who experienced a 6.3-magnitude earthquake.
Lahbib said that the 6.3-magnitude earthquake that struck Afghanistan last night caused loss of life.
Expressing her deepest condolences to all those affected, Lahbib emphasized that the European Union stands in solidarity with the Afghan people.
She added that EU humanitarian teams and their partners on the ground are assessing needs to provide support.
