Many people killed in explosion at a bar in a Swiss ski resort
Stockholm, January 1 (Hibya) – According to the BBC, police said that many people were killed and several others injured in an explosion at a bar in the Swiss ski resort of Crans-Montana.
Police told the BBC that the explosion occurred at the Constellation Bar at around 01:30 local time.
Unverified images circulating on social media show a fire at the bar where New Year celebrations were taking place.
Police said a helpline has been set up for the families of those affected.
Crans-Montana is a luxury ski resort town located in the heart of the Swiss Alps, about two hours from the Swiss capital, Bern.
