Oman’s Sultan and Iran’s Foreign Minister discuss regional developments
Muscat, April 26 (Hibya) – According to China Central Television (CCTV), Oman’s Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said met with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Muscat.
According to China Central Television (CCTV), Oman’s Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said held a meeting in Muscat with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi.
It was reported that the regional situation and mediation efforts aimed at ending conflicts were discussed during the meeting.
It was stated that the Sultan of Oman “emphasized that dialogue and diplomacy should be prioritized in order to strengthen the foundations of peace in resolving various issues.”
It was also noted that the Sultan shared his views on advancing the mediation process, achieving a sustainable political solution, and reducing the impact of conflicts on the public.
It was reported that Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi expressed his appreciation for Oman’s role in contributing to dialogue and regional stability.
According to CCTV, Araghchi’s visit to Muscat is the second stop of his regional tour, which began in Islamabad and will conclude in Russia.
