Pakistani Foreign Minister Dar met with Algerian counterpart Attaf
Istanbul, June 22 (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar met with Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf.
Dar held a meeting with Attaf on the sidelines of the 51st Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) held in Istanbul.
Ishaq Dar stated that they reaffirmed their shared commitment to further strengthening Pakistan-Algeria bilateral relations, saying: “As non-permanent members of the UN Security Council, we have decided to work together to maintain international peace and security. We also discussed important regional and international developments and emphasized the vital role of the OIC in addressing the challenges faced by the Muslim Ummah and beyond.”
