Qatar condemns attack on church in Damascus
Doha, June 23 (Hibya) – The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the attack on Saint Elias Church in the capital of the Syrian Arab Republic, Damascus, which caused numerous deaths and injuries.
The Ministry reaffirmed Qatar's firm stance against all forms of violence, terrorism, and criminal acts regardless of their reasons, and strongly condemned the targeting of places of worship and actions that terrorize civilians.
The Ministry also expressed Qatar's full solidarity with the Syrian government in all measures taken to maintain security and stability.
The Ministry extended its sincere condolences to the families of the victims, the Syrian government, and the people, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
