Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Dar speaks with Azerbaijani counterpart Jabbarov
Islamabad, January 2 (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, held a telephone conversation with Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov.
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, spoke by phone with Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, to discuss the implementation of Azerbaijan’s USD 2 billion investment in Pakistan.
The two leaders expressed satisfaction with the current state of bilateral relations and agreed to further enhance them.
Dar underscored the importance of high-level engagements to strengthen Pakistan–Azerbaijan cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
It was also agreed to finalize a mechanism that will ensure Azerbaijani investments are directed to designated sectors of Pakistan’s economy.
