President Erdoğan held a phone call with his Iranian counterpart
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
During the call, President Erdoğan and President Pezeshkian discussed the conflict between Israel and Iran, as well as regional and global issues.
Erdoğan strongly condemned Israel’s unlawful attacks on Iran and expressed condolences to the Iranian people for the loss of lives.
He emphasized that the attacks were a clear violation of international law, aimed at dragging the entire region into fire, and accused Netanyahu of attempting to sabotage the nuclear negotiation process.
President Erdoğan also stated that Israel was trying to divert global attention from the genocide in Gaza through its attacks on Iran.
He added that Türkiye is closely monitoring developments regarding a possible nuclear leak at the Natanz facility and noted that the only solution to the nuclear dispute is through diplomatic processes.
