Prime Minister Jelyazkov Joins Coalition of the Willing
Paris, January 7 (Hibya) — Bulgarian Prime Minister Rosen Jelyazkov traveled to Paris to attend the “Coalition of the Willing” meeting held to address Ukraine’s security and the peace process.
According to a statement from the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria, Prime Minister Rosen Jelyazkov took part in the “Coalition of the Willing” meeting held at the Elysee Palace.
Prime Minister Jelyazkov was officially welcomed by French President Emmanuel Macron in a formal ceremony.
The summit brought together heads of state and government from 35 countries, European institutions, NATO representatives, and Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The forum’s main objective was announced as reviewing the progress of negotiations for a just and lasting peace in Ukraine, finalizing the Coalition’s contribution within the security guarantees framework, and deciding on the next steps of support for Ukraine.
