Rasmussen: Iran must never develop nuclear weapons
Copenhagen, May 23 (Hibya) – Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen stated that Iran must never develop nuclear weapons and that the U.S. is working to prevent this.
Minister Rasmussen said he is closely monitoring the situation in the Middle East.
Emphasizing that Iran must not develop nuclear weapons, he said: “The United States stated last night that it is trying to prevent this. We must not lose focus on the diplomatic path.”
Rasmussen called on all parties to continue negotiations and avoid further escalation.
