Rubio: Imposing sanctions on four more ICC officials
Washington, August 20 (Hibya) – U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that he has imposed sanctions on four more officials of the International Criminal Court (ICC).
Rubio stated that the ICC continues to disregard national sovereignty and facilitate legal battles through its efforts to investigate, arrest, detain, and prosecute American and Israeli citizens.
In response, Rubio emphasized that he has imposed sanctions on four additional ICC officials: “We will continue to hold accountable those responsible for the ICC’s morally bankrupt and legally baseless actions against Americans and Israelis.”
