Sybiha criticized Russia’s declaration that it is “prepared to continue and escalate military activities as long as deemed necessary” during his address to the Security Council.

He emphasized that, at a time when the entire world is calling for an end to deaths and for meaningful diplomacy, Russia’s continued aggressive and threatening rhetoric at top international platforms is a direct insult to peace efforts.

“This is not just against Ukraine; it is a challenge to the U.S., European countries, China, Brazil, and all other peace-supporting actors,” said Sybiha, urging the international community to respond strongly to Russia’s arrogant statements.
