Ukrainian Foreign Ministry: 176 people evacuated from Israel to Egypt
Kyiv, June 22 (Hibya) – The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry announced that groups of Ukrainian citizens and those from partner countries were evacuated from high-risk areas.
According to a statement by the Ministry, on the instructions of Volodymyr Zelensky, and ahead of potential active U.S. actions against nuclear facilities in Iran, Ukrainian diplomats and the Main Intelligence Directorate evacuated groups of citizens from high-risk zones.
So far, 176 people have been evacuated from Israel to Egypt, including citizens of Ukraine, Moldova, Latvia, Azerbaijan, Estonia, and the United States. Evacuations from Iran to Azerbaijan are also ongoing.
The Ministry emphasized that it will continue to respond to all requests and do everything possible to provide the necessary protection and assistance to citizens of Ukraine and its partner countries.
