Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Jens Laerke, spokesperson for the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, said on Friday that Gaza is “the only area where the entire population is facing famine risk.” He stated, “100% of the population is at risk of famine.”

Laerke detailed the challenges the UN faces in delivering aid to Gaza. After a partial easing of the blockade, Israel allowed the delivery of 900 trucks of humanitarian aid, but only 600 trucks have been offloaded on the Gaza side, and fewer shipments have been distributed inside the region due to security concerns.

He said the aid operation is “in an operational chokehold that has become one of the most obstructed humanitarian operations not just in today’s world, but in recent history.”

Laerke added that trucks entering Gaza are often “looted by desperate people.”

Israel’s UN Ambassador Daniel Meron rejected the claims, saying UN agencies “selectively use facts to present an alternative reality and demonize Israel.”
