Zelenski: The Iranian people, like Ukraine, expect determination and speed from the world
Munich, February 14 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski stated in his speech at the Munich Security Conference that the drone support provided by the Iranian regime to Russia has caused significant damage to Ukraine.
Speaking at the ongoing security conference in Munich, President Zelenski addressed the threats posed by the Iranian regime to global security and to Ukraine.
Referring to the impact of Iranian-made weapons in Ukraine, Zelenski said, "The Shahed drones that Iran has sold to Russia are killing our people and destroying our infrastructure. The Iranian regime has caused more damage than many regimes could in a century, and it can still cause more."
Drawing a parallel between the demands of the Iranian people and Ukraine’s needs at the beginning of the war, Zelenski said, "Today the Iranian people expect from the world what we needed in Ukraine on February 24, when the Russian invasion began: unity, determination, and speed. Speed in support. Regimes like the one in Iran must not be given time. When they have time, they only kill more people. They must be stopped immediately."
