Zelensky said, "Today, President Trump made a very important statement. And it is true: the side that undermines peace efforts and prolongs the war is Russia. There are attacks every night, and Russia’s continuous attempts to harm Ukraine continue. Indeed, if we act strongly and decisively, peace is possible — and we have said this many times — all our partners know it — sanctions are a key element of this process. Russia takes these sanctions and the losses they cause into account. Peace through strength is possible."
