President of the Republic of Albania Bajram Begaj met with Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi in the capital Tirana.

During the meeting, it was reported that the greetings of the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani were conveyed to the Albanian President, and mutual good wishes were exchanged.

It was also stated that Begaj conveyed his greetings to the Qatari side and expressed his wishes for strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

The parties were said to have discussed the development of bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest during the meeting.
