Albares met with his counterparts
Brussels, June 23 (Hibya) – Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Jose Manuel Albares, held bilateral meetings in Brussels with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen.
Minister Albares stated that Spain supports Ukraine in defending its freedom, peace, and territorial integrity.
Condemning the ongoing Russian attacks, Albares said: “A ceasefire is necessary. I conveyed this to my dear friend and Ukrainian counterpart Sybiha during our meeting in Brussels.”
Sybiha also reported meeting with his Danish counterpart Rasmussen, stating:
“We discussed the European agenda, support for Ukraine, and the serious situation in the Middle East. We agreed to work together for a united Europe with a strong voice in the world during Denmark’s upcoming Presidency of the EU Council.”
