Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

President Putin met with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi at the Kremlin.

Attending the meeting were Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Presidential Advisor Yuri Ushakov, and Russian Armed Forces Deputy Chief of General Staff Igor Kostyukov, as well as Iran’s Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali and Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi.

Putin said their position on current events is well known: “There is absolutely no basis or justification for unprovoked aggression against Iran. We have had long-standing, good, and trustworthy relations with Iran. We are making efforts to assist the Iranian people.”

Putin expressed his satisfaction with Araghchi’s presence in Moscow, adding: “This gives us the opportunity to discuss these urgent matters and think together about how to resolve the current situation. Please convey my best wishes to the Iranian President and Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.”

Araghchi noted that Russia, as a partner, built a nuclear power plant in Bushehr and assisted Iran in nuclear matters. “Russia played a constructive role in reaching good agreements. Unfortunately, escalation is rising daily – they have decided to attack our facilities. Not only Israel, but also the Americans have made this decision.”

He added: “The aggressive actions of Israel and the U.S. are completely illegitimate and violate international laws and norms. We are now defending our sovereignty and our country – and our defense is legitimate.”
