Sybiha: Our top priority is strengthening Ukraine
Kyiv, June 23 (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that in the face of increased Russian attacks, their top priority is strengthening Ukraine.
Sybiha expressed appreciation to EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and European Commission Vice President Kaja Kallas for inviting him to the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting in Brussels.
He noted that during the meeting, he emphasized that security in Europe and the Middle East are directly connected: “Countering Russia’s aggression against Ukraine is an integral part of deterring the Russia-Iran-North Korea security threat.”
Sybiha stated that Putin is rejecting peace efforts and escalating terror, saying: “It’s time to strike the Russian economy with paralyzing sanctions. In the face of rising Russian attacks, our top priority is to strengthen Ukraine—especially air defense, interceptors, artillery ammunition, long-range capabilities, and drones.”
