Kallas: Concerns over war escalation remain high
Brussels, June 22 (Hibya) – EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission Kaja Kallas stated that foreign ministers remain focused on a diplomatic solution, but concerns about the escalation of the war remain high.
Kallas emphasized that while foreign ministers continue to pursue a diplomatic path, the level of concern over the escalation of the conflict remains significant.
She warned that any closure of the Strait of Hormuz by Iran would be extremely dangerous.
