Metsola: The situation in the Middle East is at a turning point
Abu Dhabi, June 23 (Hibya) – President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola said that the situation in the Middle East is at a turning point.
Metsola stated that she traveled to Abu Dhabi on behalf of the European Parliament to convey her messages to the country's leadership and representatives of the Gulf region.
She noted that the United Arab Emirates is one of Europe's key partners in reducing regional tensions and moving toward understanding, peace, prosperity, security, and trade. “I am grateful to His Excellency Saqr Ghobash, President of the Federal National Council, for the invitation,” she said.
