Albares supports lasting peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia
Madrid, August 20 (Hibya) - Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Jose Manuel Albares, stated that achieving lasting peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia is one of Spain’s foreign policy priorities.
In phone conversations with Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, Albares expressed his satisfaction with the agreements reached between the two countries.
During the talks, he congratulated the parties for their contributions to the normalization process, emphasizing that Spain will continue to support this process and is ready to play a constructive role in the implementation of the agreement.
Minister Albares noted that the agreement in question holds great importance for the region and represents a significant opportunity for ensuring lasting peace.
