Brekelmans: The Netherlands will provide Poland with an air defense system
Amsterdam, August 18 (Hibya) - Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans announced that his country will provide Poland with comprehensive air defense support.
According to the statement, the Netherlands will send Patriot and NASAMS air defense systems, anti-drone systems, as well as 300 soldiers to Poland.
Defense Minister Brekelmans emphasized that this step is of great importance for protecting NATO territory, securing logistics routes to Ukraine, and deterring Russia.
He added that this contribution would strengthen not only regional security but also the overall security of the Netherlands and Europe.
