CBRT - Year-end dollar exchange rate expectation increased to 40.53 liras
Istanbul, 15 March (Hibya) - According to the Central Bank (CBRT) participant survey results, the year-end dollar exchange rate expectation increased to 40.53 liras from 40.02 liras in the February survey period.
According to the CBRT Market Participant Survey results, the exchange rate expectation after 12 months increased from 41.15 liras to 42.79 liras in the same period.
The economic growth expectations of the participants for 2024 and 2025 remained unchanged at 3.3 per cent and 3.8 per cent, respectively.
Participants' expectations for the current month-end overnight interest rate in the BIST Repo and Reverse-Repo Market increased from 45.00 per cent in the previous survey period to 45.82 per cent in this survey period. CBRT's one-week repo auction interest rate remained unchanged at 45.00 per cent in the same period.
