Iran: 60 killed, including 20 children, in Israeli strike on residential building
Stockholm, June 14 (Hibya) – According to a reporter from Iranian state media, 60 people were killed in an Israeli attack on a residential building in Tehran.
Iranian television broadcast live footage of workers clearing debris from a 14-story building in the Shahrak-e Shahid Chamran residential complex in Tehran.
According to the on-site reporter, 20 children, including six-month-old babies, were killed in the building. Ten bodies are reportedly still under the rubble.
Iran’s UN envoy Amir Said Iravani stated that at least 78 people were killed in the Israeli strikes.
It is still unclear whether the 60 killed in the residential building are included in that count.
