According to the statement from the ministry, during the discussion addressing the humanitarian tragedy in Gaza, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan emphasized that the events clearly demonstrate the need to implement a two-state solution.

Minister Fidan pointed out that the resolution of the Palestinian issues could be possible within the framework of UN decisions and accepted international parameters, stating, "An immediate ceasefire must be achieved. Subsequently, action should be taken to establish a permanent and just peace."

Highlighting the unacceptable nature of the humanitarian tragedy, Foreign Minister Fidan stated that more efforts are needed to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.

In the meeting with Special Coordinator Wennesland, Foreign Minister Fidan also emphasized that they would follow up on the decisions made at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation - Arab League Summit.
