Netanyahu held a phone call with Musk
Florida, December 29 (Hibya) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that during a teleconference with Elon Musk they discussed cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, and smart transportation.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that he held a teleconference with entrepreneur Elon Musk, attended by Transportation Minister Miri Regev and the head of the National Artificial Intelligence Center, Erez Eskel.
Netanyahu said that as part of the meeting, Musk accepted the invitation to participate in the smart transportation conference to be held in March.
Netanyahu stated: “Musk accepted my invitation and the invitation of Transportation Minister Miri Regev.”
Noting that ongoing cooperation with Tesla was discussed during the meeting, Netanyahu said: “We also discussed the continuing partnerships with Tesla and the legal regulations related to autonomous vehicles.”
Netanyahu concluded by saying: “As we have done in cybersecurity and other technologies, we aim to make Israel a global leader in the field of artificial intelligence as well.”
