Palestinian Foreign Ministry: Humanitarian aid workers must be protected
Ramallah, August 20 (Hibya) - The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates stated that protecting humanitarian aid workers is both a legal and moral responsibility of the international community.
In a statement issued by the Palestinian Foreign Ministry, it was emphasized that humanitarian personnel working in conflict and crisis zones face risks, and ensuring their safety is an obligation under international humanitarian law.
The statement also underlined that humanitarian activities are carried out in accordance with the principles of neutrality, independence, and respect for human dignity.
