UNICEF: Cholera in Sudan still a serious threat
New York, August 20 (Hibya) - The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) reported that the cholera outbreak in Sudan continues to pose a serious threat to children and families already facing conflict, displacement, and hunger.
In a statement, the organization emphasized that despite all challenges and decreasing financial support, UNICEF remains actively engaged on the ground. It was noted that details of the measures and interventions against the cholera outbreak would soon be shared with the public.
UNICEF highlighted the deepening humanitarian crisis in Sudan and called on the international community for urgent support.
