Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna issued a statement regarding Russia’s aggression in Ukraine and the latest developments in the region.

Referring to Russian President Putin’s discomfort with recent diplomatic steps, Tsahkna said: “The latest steps by Europe, Ukraine and the United States to develop security guarantees, together with developments in Venezuela, have unsettled Putin. Russia’s response was aerial terror against Ukraine; civilians were killed and thousands of people were deprived of heating, electricity and water in the middle of winter.”

Drawing attention to the provocative nature of the munitions used in the attacks, Tsahkna added: “Russia also deliberately used the medium-range ballistic missile Oreshnik once again in a provocative attack near the borders of the European Union and NATO.”

Emphasizing the steps the international community must take, Minister Tsahkna concluded: “There is only one outcome. To change Russia’s course, international political and economic pressure must be maximized and made unbearable.”
