Ukraine Celebrates Statehood Day
Kyiv, July 15 (Hibya) – Ukraine is celebrating Statehood Day today, a holiday that symbolizes the country's centuries-old state tradition.
On the occasion, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that Ukraine’s state tradition dates back to the era of ancient Rus, and that independence was restored in 1991.
Sybiha emphasized that resistance against Russia’s full-scale aggression continues, and that the Ukrainian people, while defending their land, are also firmly asserting their identity as a free and sovereign nation.
