New York, August 20 (Hibya) - United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Executive Director Catherine Russell met with Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike.
UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell met with Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike. The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation for the benefit of children, UNICEF’s work in innovation and connectivity, and Tokyo’s global role.
Following the meeting, Russell said she was honored to meet Governor Koike, adding: “We had a fruitful discussion on ways to strengthen our partnership for children, UNICEF’s efforts in innovation and connectivity, as well as Tokyo’s importance in the world.”
