China "strongly" condemns U.S. bombing of Iran
Stockholm, June 22 (Hibya) – China has strongly condemned the U.S. attacks on Iran and the bombing of nuclear facilities under IAEA safeguards.
China accused the U.S. of violating international law with airstrikes and escalating tensions in the Middle East.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry called for a ceasefire in a statement published on X.
China urged the parties to the conflict, especially Israel, to reach a ceasefire as soon as possible, ensure civilian safety, and begin dialogue and negotiations.
China also emphasized its readiness to work with the international community to coordinate efforts, uphold justice, and restore peace and stability in the Middle East.
