EU foreign ministers to discuss U.S. strikes on Iran tomorrow
Brussels, June 22 (Hibya) – EU foreign ministers will meet on Monday to discuss the United States’ strikes on Iran.
EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas stated on X that Iran must not be allowed to develop a nuclear bomb and urged calm.
Kallas, who is also Vice-President of the European Commission, said: “Iran must not be allowed to develop nuclear weapons, as this would pose a threat to international security.”
“I call on all parties to de-escalate, return to the negotiating table, and prevent further escalation.”
“EU foreign ministers will discuss the situation tomorrow,” she added.
