Sybiha stated that his counterpart expressed gratitude to Ukraine for evacuating an Estonian citizen from Israel.

He reaffirmed Ukraine's commitment to its partnership with Estonia and said: "We coordinated our positions ahead of upcoming international events, particularly tomorrow's EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting in Brussels. It is time to take concrete steps to increase pressure on Russia. The EU’s 18th sanctions package should be devastating to Russia’s economy and its ability to continue the war against Ukraine."

Sybiha also noted their focus on the expected outcomes of the NATO Summit in The Hague, adding: "I appreciate Estonia's leadership and continued support for Ukraine and our efforts toward achieving a just peace."
