Lazzarini addressed members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation
New York, June 21 (Hibya) - UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini delivered a speech at the OIC Summit.
During the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers meeting, Lazzarini warned that a long-standing project aimed at weakening the viability of the State of Palestine and separating Palestinians from their land is being implemented.
"I called on OIC member states to act now to safeguard the rights of Palestinian refugees, ensure their protection, and access to basic services through UNRWA, and to commit all their political and financial resources to this effort," he said.
