UNRWA: Nearly half of essential medical supplies depleted
New York, June 21 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) stated that nearly half of essential medical supplies in Gaza have been depleted.
UNRWA reported that its health services in Gaza are operating under severely limited resources.
In its statement, UNRWA said: "Nearly half of the essential medical supplies have been depleted. This situation puts lives at serious risk, including those of patients with chronic illnesses such as diabetes. The blockade on Gaza must be lifted and the entry of life-saving supplies must be allowed."
